21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student learns general and special examination techniques in terms of diseases in different animal species.;
2 Learns the inspection of systems with their species-specific features.;
3 Learns how to evaluate and interpret different examination findings for the diagnosis of diseases and how to use them for differential diagnosis.;
4 Learns to interpret system-specific laboratory findings.;
5 Learns to interpret clinical findings and laboratory findings together by establishing a relationship.;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 General information about clinical diagnosis, some definitions, disease symptoms, general examination methods (equilateral, habitus, anamnesis, inspection, palpation, auscultation, percussion, probing)
2 Special Examination Methods (microscopic examination, diagnostic operation, endoscopy, visual diagnostic methods, etc.)
3 General condition examination: body temperature, normal temperature, fever and hyperthermia, hypothermia, febrile diseases. Examination of the lymph system, lymph nodes and vessels. Examination of visible mucous membranes
4 Examination of the skin: hair cover, skin color, moistness, smell, elasticity skin lesions: itching, swelling, edema, emphysema, tissue loss-wounds, spills, dermatitis inflammations
5 Examination of the respiratory system: examination of the pharynx, larynx, trachea, lung, pleura cavity
6 Examination of the circulatory system: heart rate, examination of the heart (auscultation, percussion), examination of blood, serological tests
7 Examination of the digestive system: chewing, salivation, swallowing, mouth / pharyngeal mucosa, esophageal examination, rumination, vomiting, defecation, examination of the rumen and abomasum, examination of the intestines, examination of the liver and spleen
8 Examination of the urinary system: examination of the urinary organs, urine collection and macroscopic, microscopic, chemical examination of urine
9 Examinations of the thorax, abdomen and male genital organs, examples of normal and possible pathological findings in terms of rectal examination technique and surgical diseases

11 Bleeding, Dressing, Bandage, Inflammation, Abscess, Gangrene

14 Instruments and materials used in reproductive examinations, fastening methods for reproductive examinations in different animal species, examination of male and female genital organs, clinical examination of breast and milk
