19 Objective of the Course: To ensure that the political geography sub-discipline, which deals with the spatial aspects of political activities, has evolved from its emergence to the present, its basic concepts and main approaches.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Have knowledge about the political geography sub-discipline that deals with the spatial aspects of political activities, its development from its emergence to the present, its basic concepts and main approaches. Will be able to analyze the relationship between geography and political organizations.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Basic concepts such as politics, politics, political philosophy and political geography will be taught.;
2 The relationship between geography and politics, and the effect of geography on politics will be taught.;
3 The emergence and development of political geography. To be informed about Politische Geographie-Friedrich Ratzel.;
4 Knowledge about the subject of political geography and the field of study.;
5 Organizations in political geography. State, nation and national state and non-state actors etc. will be comprehended in terms of their functions in today's political geography.;
6 Knowledge about the types of states according to different criteria will be learned.;
7 The shape of the state land and the effects of its geographical elements on the structure, ideology and power of the state will be taught. Geopolitical theories and their effects on international politics will be taught.;
8 The effects of human factors such as population, culture, social structure, economy, knowledge and technology on the structure, ideology and power of the state will be taught.;
9 Power centers and power struggles in the world, conflict zones in the world, political borders and border conflicts will be comprehended.;
