19 Objective of the Course: The emergence of cities, urbanization and urban land use patterns to teach.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To be able to comprehend the settlements, which are the most important activity of man, with their spatial characteristics, to analyze the relations between cities and related settlement systems.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student knows what it means to the city, news of approaches are used in the geography of the city.;
2 Students taking this course, then the inner city and understand the relationship between cities and their surroundings.;
3 Differentiate between urban and rural settlements. ;
4 Show the horizontal distribution of cities, together with their reasons.;
5 Show the vertical distribution of cities, together with their reasons.;
6 Describe the urban functions.;
7 Classify the cities;
8 Describe affecting urban land use of dominant function or functions;
9 Arrange in order the factors affecting urban land use based on their effectiveness.;
10 Recognize and define the patterns of urban land use in the historical development process;
