19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the career planning course is to guide students to determine their careers in accordance with their own intelligence, personality, knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies. Within the scope of the course; Awareness about these concepts will be created, Career Centers and activities where students can get support about their careers throughout their university life will be introduced, the use of Talent Gate and how to benefit from it will be shown, and the opportunity to meet working life in different sectors will be offered.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The course will contribute to the professional progress of the students according to their personal characteristics.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Provide that the student is aware of the educational services offered by the Career Center and ensures a connection between the Career Center and the student.;
2 Provide that they learn concepts such as intelligence, personality, knowledge, skills, abilities and competence and establish the connection of these concepts with career.;
3 Provide that students get to know the sectors such as the public sector, private sector, academia, civilian organizations, comprehend the differences between the sectors and see the working life in these sectors.;
4 To provide the awareness of the importance of developing fine or precise skills in the career process;
5 To give information students about the activities that can contribute to their career outside of their courses throughout the university life.;
6 To gain awareness of the contribution of international exchange programs to personal development and academic life and their positive reflections on career plans.;
7 To learn that consultancy can be obtained from Career Centers through the website(https://www.yetenekkapisi.org/) and that applications can be made to activities such as fairs, seminars, workshops and internship announcements;

1 What is a career planning lesson? What is a career center? What are the issues that the career center will benefit from? How to benefit from Career Centers?
2 What is intelligence and personality? How does intelligence and personality relate to career?
3 What are the concepts of knowledge, skill, ability and competence? What are these concepts related to career?
4 What are skills? Why do students need these skills?
5 Explanation of career and career-related concepts
6 Explanation of the activities students can do to contribute to their careers throughout university life. (Academic, social, artistic and sports activities)
7 Activities of national civilian organizations and volunteer work opportunities. Advice from civilian organization staff on how students should spend their university life
8 International civilian organizations activities and volunteer work opportunities. Advice from these organization staff on how students should spend their university life
9 Give information about Informing public sector staff about their career stories and advice for students on how to spend their university life
10 Give information from private sector employees about career stories and advice for students on how to spend their university life
11 Give informing students about the career stories of academicians and * Advice on how to spend their university life at different levels in the academy
12 Providing information about the career stories of entrepreneurs and advice to students on how to spend their university life
