19 Objective of the Course: To enable the student to understand and explain the Classical Turkish Literature at an academic level by recognizing the literature of the field and approaching them with a researcher-examiner sensitivity and discipline.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to use / apply knowledge, to make comparative studies during and before the term.;
2 Gaining the ability to express critical thinking in a constructive way, to use priority and to express one's own opinion.;
3 Students can collect the material related to the field from the library or archive and analyze this material in the light of scientific methods.;
4 The student has the knowledge and equipment to teach the discipline / literature in educational institutions.;
5 The student has the knowledge of literature on the subject.;

1 What is the concept? Definition and dimensions.
2 General evaluation of the basic concepts of classical Turkish literature.
3 Emotions in Ottoman Poetry: Love, Longing, Separation.
4 Types Encountered in Ottoman Poetry: Âşık, Dear, Rind, Zâhid, Rakîb.
5 Locations: Parliament, Pub, Lodge, Street.
6 Cosmic Realm: Planet, Sun, Moon, Stars, Planet and Signs.
7 Plants: Rose, Tulip, Daffodil, Benefşe, Cypress, Sycamore.
8 Animals: Nightingale, Pigeon, Dog, Ant, Simurgh, Tuti.
9 War Terms: Rezm, Ceng, Tîğ, Keman.
10 Assembly Terms: Bezm, Bade, Wine, Chalice, Piyale, Sâkî, Mest.
11 Other Terms: Ab-ı Hayat, Four Elements, Bad-ı Saba.
12 Other Terms: Reason, Science, Mythology.
