19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is to increase the awareness level of the students taking the course about the economic background of public policies, especially fiscal policy. The theoretical background of public services and how the policy transformation processes work constitute the general framework of this course.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It contributes in terms of analyzing the functions of the state in the economy and the economic effects of its decisions.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Gain knowledge and ideas about public expenditure theories.;
2 Recognizes that decisions are made in the political process in the public economy.;
3 Learns how the decision-making processes work in the market economy and public economy.;
4 Kamu hizmetlerinin finansmanında kullanılan vergilerin ekonomik etkilerini kavrar ve analiz gücü kazanır.;
5 Understands the importance of taxes in resource allocation and efficiency of use.;
6 Compare market and public failure theses.;
7 Can measure and analyze the size of Turkey's public economy.;
