19 Objective of the Course: It aims to give general information about the usage areas of Interventional Radiology, to make practical applications, and to contribute to the application of Interventional Radiological procedures in the life of medicine at the end of this process.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Having knowledge of basic Interventional Radiological procedures required by qualified physicians in the medical profession and being able to use them
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to define Interventional Radiology and clinical usage areas;
2 To be able to explain the working and usage principles of the devices used in Interventional Radiology;
3 To be able to give examples about the usage activities of radiological modalities in Interventional Radiology;
4 To be able to comprehend Interventional Radiological procedures by taking applied training on learning models;
5 To have knowledge about patient evaluation and management before, during and after interventional radiological procedures.;
6 To be able to recognize and apply medical materials used in interventional radiological procedures;
7 To be able to produce solutions to existing medical problems in patients in terms of Interventional Radiological Procedures;
8 Learning and using the medications used in interventional radiological procedures.;
9 Understanding the effectiveness of Interventional Radiology in emergency situations.;
10 Taking responsibility, making fast and effective decisions in critical moments in the medical life with the information learned from these courses;

5 Percutaneous drainages
6 Interventional Radiological approaches in pain management
7 Central venous catheter implantation
8 Endovascular treatment in peripheral artery diseases
9 Endovascular approach to venous thrombosis
10 Interventional Radiological procedures in patients with peripheral - visceral hemorrhage
11 Vascular and non-vascular foreign body removal
12 Interventional oncology
13 Interventional Radiological procedures in intracranial hemorrhages
14 Acute Stroke endovascular treatment
