19 Objective of the Course: To introduce the nature of fatwa and its procedure
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Knows the nature of the Fatwa, the theory of fatwa and the current problems of fatwa’s theory.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learn about the definition and nature of fatwa;
2 Gains information about the history of the fatwa, the formation, emergence and functioning of the ifta organization.;
3 Gains information about the relationship between fatwa, qada and sect.;
4 Gains information about the fatwa method of Hanafi, Shafii and Maliki sects.;
5 Gains the ability to read sample texts on the method of fatwa.;
6 Gains information about the literature of fatwa method;
7 Gains information about fatwa, Şeyhülislam and Fetvahane institutions in the Ottoman Empire.;
8 Learns about method problems in fatwa, issues of fatwa and change.;
