19 Objective of the Course: To introduce assisted reproductive technologies (ART) used in the management of infertile couples. To compare various ARTs and to discuss problems encountered during and after ART procedures.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Having an idea about the working principles and practices of ÜYT centers in master degree education will contribute to their career determination more consciously.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be informed about the historical process of development of assisted reproduction centers.;
2 To learn infertility treatment approaches. ;
3 To be informed about organization and equipment of assisted reproduction centers;
4 To learn classical methods of assisted reproduction and micromanipulation techniques ;
5 To be informed about the structural characteristics and the services of Embryology and Andrology laboratories ;
6 To check the evaluation criteria of sperm, oocytes and embryos, their structural properties;
7 To be informed about embryo transfer and the freezing methods of gamete and embryo ;
8 To learn the legal regulations of assisted reproduction treatment in Turkey.;
