19 Objective of the Course: To provide students with knowledge and skills about kidney diseases, signs and symptoms, diagnosis and treatment methods and rehabilitation.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It supports increasing the quality of care to be given to individuals with kidney diseases in professional life.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To know the basic concepts of kidney diseases and to establish the relationship between these concepts;;
2 To be able to integrate the knowledge gained in previous courses into this course;;
3 Knowing the laws, regulations and legislation about nephrology nursing;;
4 To be able to recognize kidney diseases, to know their physiopathology, applied care and treatment methods;;
5 To be able to recognize kidney diseases, to know their physiopathology, applied care and treatment methods;;
6 To be able to apply the care of individuals with kidney diseases in line with professional and ethical principles with a holistic approach using the nursing process;;
7 To be able to evaluate the care applied to individuals with kidney disease accurately and effectively;;
8 To be able to rehabilitate the patient with a holistic approach;;
9 Being able to assume an educational role in order to ensure the participation of the patient and her/his family in care;;
10 To have the ability to evaluate and transfer what they have learned;;

6 Urinary system infections (Cystitis, pyelonephritis, glomerulonephritis)
7 Nephritic and Nephrotic Syndrome
8 Acute and Chronic Kidney Failure
9 Immunological Diseases of the Kidney (Amyloidosis, SLE, RA, etc.)
