19 Objective of the Course: The main aim of this course is to develop analytical thinking by providing the student with information about current anti-religious trends.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student gains an understanding of what the general characteristics of Atheism are.;
2 Philosophical trends and basic issues such as materialism are learned. ;
3 The student gains an understanding of the relationship between naturalism and natural religion.;
4 Understands what scientism is and the ability to think critically between scientific objectivity and religion.;
5 Gains the ability to analyze philosophical concepts such as humanism, subjectivism and transhumanism.;
6 The student deepens what Nihilism is with her/his philosophical knowledge;
7 Gains the ability to develop arguments for and against the defended views of the concept of deism in the historical process and to examine these arguments.;
8 Makes distinctions on thinking of gods such as pantheism and panantheism.;
9 Gains a different perspective on secularism, positivism, historicism and religion.;
10 Recognizes the current thought currents in the modern world and has an idea about these currents.;
