1 To have knowledge about the concepts of fiqh, usul al-fiqh, sharia and law ;
2 To comprehend the basic features of Islamic law ;
3 To learn the main sources of Islamic law ;
4 To learn the secondary sources of Islamic law ;
5 To know the General Purposes of Islamic Law ;
6 To have knowledge about the theories of interpretation in Islamic law and modern law ;
7 To have knowledge about the theory of judgment ;
8 To recognize the concept and function of sect ;
9 To have knowledge about the Ijtihad theory ;
10 To have knowledge about the fatwa and fatwa method ;

4 The Quran as the Main Source of Islamic Law
5 Sunnah as the Way of the Realization of Islamic Law and the Basic Interpretation of the Quran
6 Ijma (Consensus) as the Key Concept of Islamic Civilization and as the Ground of Zarûrât ad-Dîniyya
7 Fundamental Solution of Islamic Law to the Limited Resources and Unlimited Events: Ijtihâd and Qiyâs (Analogie)
8 Instruments Ensuring the Dynamism of Islamic Law: Equity, Maslahat, Custom
9 General Objectives of Islamic Law: Maqasıd al-shari
10 Literal and Teleological Interpretation of texts in Islamic Legal Thought
11 Definition and subject and addressee of shari provision
12 Parts of the Shariah judgment
13 The Concept of Sect (school) in Islamic Law
