19 Objective of the Course: To have knowledge about the emergence and development of Islamic economic thought
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To provide a basis for academic studies in the field of Islamic economics
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be knowledgeable about the foundations and nature of Islamic economics;
2 69/5.000  Characters Translate To establish the relationship between Islamic economics and pre-Islamic economic life;
3 Knowing the principles and rulings regarding economy in the Quran and Sunnah;
4 To have knowledge about the economic approach and practices of the Rashidun Caliphs and the Umayyads.;
5 To have knowledge about the economic views and practices during the Umayyad and Abbasid periods in Al-Andalus.;
6 To be knowledgeable about the economic views and practices of the Ottoman period.;
7 To be knowledgeable about the economic views and practices of the Republic period;
8 To be knowledgeable about the development processes of works such as kharaj, amwal, kasb, etc., that include economic topics. ;
9 İktisadi görüşleri ile öne çıkan İslam alimleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak;
10 To gain the ability to relate the development of Islamic economics to the development process of modern economic thought.;

1 The economic structure of the pre-Islamic Arabian Peninsula
2 The development of Islamic economic policies during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, the economy of the period
3 Development of economic policies during the Four Caliphs period, emergence of economic institutions, land reform
4 Economy in the Umayyad and Abbasid Period
5 Economic history of the Andalusian Umayyads, developments in agriculture, trade and industry, and their long-term effects on the economies of Europe and the Mediterranean
6 Economies of Turkish states established before the Ottoman Empire (Great Seljuks, First Muslim Turkish states, Turkish states established in Anatolia and the Middle East)
7 Economy, agriculture, trade and industry, financial structure, money-credit, prices in the Anatolian Seljuk state
8 Analysis of economic policies in the Ottoman period, the development of agriculture, trade and industry.
9 The operating system of public resources in the Ottoman period (timar, iltizam, trust, malikane, esham application) - Ottoman monetary and financing system, wages and prices
10 Analysis of the Ottoman financial structure: Treasury management, central finance, timar and foundation system, Ottoman tax system
11 Transformation of Ottoman economic policies in the 19th century, institutional reforms, integration efforts with western economies.
12 Economic views of some Islamic scholars: Muhammad Shaybani, Abu Ubayd Qasim B. Sallam, Kindi.
13 Economic views of some Islamic scholars: Yahya Ibn Omar Al-Andalus, Abu Bakr Hallal, Farabi, Mawardi
14 Economic views of some Islamic scholars: Sarakhsi, Biruni, Nizam al-Mulk, Ghazali.
