19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is to give advanced information about mycology.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development This course provides students advanced information about plant pathogenic fungi, their's identification and management.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Students will be able; to explain the historical development of mycology;
2 To have advanced knowledge about the plant pathogenic fungi;
3 To know and be able to follow developments in the taxonomy of plant pathogenic fungi;
4 To explain reproduction in plant pathogenic fungi;
5 To track down the biology of plant pathogen fungi;
6 To track down the ecology of plant pathogenic fungi;
7 To be able to identify some important plant pathogen fungi;
8 To know the important diagnostic centers of plant pathogenic fungi;

8 Classification of plant pathogenic fungi:Myxomycota Identification of Stem and Twig cankers caused by ascomycetes and Imperfect fungi
9 Eumycota:Mastigomycotina Identification of Foliar diseases caused by ascomycetes and Imperfect fungi
