19 Objective of the Course: To give knowledge about the Roman Law.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development With this course, the process of the emergence of the Roman legal system and its contributions to world law are evaluated.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Identify how the government of the Roman Republic contributed to the development of democratic principles.;
2 Understand that the legal code and democratic principles developed in ancient Rome.;
3 Interpret primary and secondary sources.;
4 Define the effects of the religion on the judicial system.;
5 To be able to recognize the Roman aw and its importance.;
6 To be able to interpret the relation between Greek and Roman law.;
7 To be able to obtain the approaches required for law history researches.;
8 To be able to possess the ethical sensitivity required for scientific research.;
