19 Objective of the Course: It is aimed to inform students about key processes and issues of Turkish foreign policy by analyzing history of Republic between 1920-1980 in the context of foreign politics and internal developments; also to give the ability to interpret events at national and universal levels

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To get familiar with the sources related to the topic.;
2 To gain ability to analyze international developments in historical perspective;
3 To learn the basic strategies of the foreign policy followed by the Republic of Turkey;
4 To learn basic objectives of the foreign policy followed by the Republic of Turkey;
5 To gain the ability to interpret foreign policy events in depth;
6 To establish a connection between the power of the state and its foreign policy;
7 To compare foreign policy practices of the Period of Atatürk with the periods after Atatürk;
8 To have information on important foreign policy issues of the Republic of Turkey;
