19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is to teach how to collect insects from the crime scene, how to examine them after they are brought to the laboratory, how to determine the insect succession seen on the corpse and its relationship with the determination of the time after death, to examine the development and metamorphosis of insects and to teach them to be used in solving forensic cases.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Supports the resolution of forensic events with the determination of the time of death
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learns the insect groups on the corpse.;
2 Learn about insect biology and nutrition.;
3 He/she learns how to collect insects from the crime scene and how to bring them to the laboratory.;
4 Understands the importance of insects in determining the time of death.;

2 Causes of decomposition of corpses and the role of insects
3 Important dipters and their morphological features
4 Diptera systematics and ecology
5 Biology and nutrition of dipters
6 Important Coleopters and their morphology
7 Biology and nutrition of coleopters
8 Effect of environment on insect species on corpse
9 Metamorphosis of insect species and their role in determining the time of death
10 Collection and storage of samples from the crime scene and investigation techniques
11 Insect eggs corpse relationship
12 Equipment used to collect samples from the crime scene
13 Editing a report
14 Event presentation and discussion
