19 Objective of the Course: Learning the details about crystals and minerals under the titles of "General Minerology" and "Special Minerology" in this course.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To gain the ability to define and classify minerals and rocks, their formation conditions, and to comprehend their relationship with raw materials, which is the beginning of the tile production process.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learning of crystal physics and optical properties.;
2 Learning of crystal geometry and crystal chemistry. ;
3 Classification of minerals.;
4 Detailed knowledge of silicates, natural elements, sulfide and similar minerals, sulphates, halogen salts, oxides and hydroxides, carbonates, borates, nitrates, sulphates, wolframates, molybdates, phosphates, arsenates, vanadates.;

Measurement and Evaluation Techniques Used in the Course In order to measure the success of the student, 1 midterm exam with 40 points and 1 final exam with 60 points are made. The appraisal is made by using the Bursa Uludağ University Associate and Undergraduate Education Regulations. The success of the course is determined by comparing the student's total score at the end of the term with the course passing criteria.
Information Midterm and final results are evaluated through absolute evaluation.
