19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge of the methodology and application of computer aided design systems in engineering area. Students will learn the fundamentals of computer based design and how to apply CAD concepts in mechanical engineering design problems, how to manage the machine design projects and have the practical experience to meet the expectations of industry
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The skills of understanding and modeling computer aided design concepts are gained.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Understand the concepts and techniques of CAD;
2 Be able to use the computer aided design techniques in machine design problems;
3 Ability to interpret within the framework of the main issues in mechanical engineering using the results of CAD work;
4 Be able to work in teams and learn how to take different roles in team work and share the work with team mates;
5 Be able to prepare and present the projects;
