19 Objective of the Course: Revealing and comprehending the terminology about immigration and immigrants, institutions and practices and resettlement policies for immigrants to the Ottoman Empire

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To learn about the phenomenon of "Migration" in Turkish history. ;
2 To have information about the settlement policies of the Ottoman Empire. ;
3 To be able to evaluate the terminology about migration. ;
4 To be able to analyze the causes and consequences of migrations. ;
5 To be able to reveal the reasons for the migration movements of the Ottoman Empire. ;
6 To be able to interpret the settlement policies implemented in the Ottoman Empire. ;
7 To be able to evaluate the state and administration tradition behind the Ottoman settlement policies. ;
8 To be able to examine the responsibilities and problems encountered by immigration and settlement policies to the state. ;
