19 Objective of the Course: Description and short history of systematic; systematic and taxonomy; taxonomic characters; Taxonomic characteristics; variations; taxonomic researches, taxonomic printed papers, international zoological nomenclature; homonym, synonym and typus concepts are aimed to be given to students in improved and advanced level.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development gives information about taxonomic analysis and classification in various researches in the field of basic sciences.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To apply utilized the certain rules and principles for naming and classifying the animals.;
2 To embrase and learn taxonomical hierarchy.;
3 To know and apply with using the features of taxonomical characters.;
4 To identification natural-phenetic, cladistic and chronologic relations in taxonomical classification principles.;
5 To apply the methods and techniques using in taxonomy by learning.;
6 To obtain an information about the variatons in animal populations.;
7 To have an idea about subspecies level;

1 The explanation of the differences between the terms of taxonomy and systematics.
2 To explain the history of the systematic, taxonomical hierarchy and classification stages.
3 To describe the difficulties in the study of taxonomy, the jobs of taxonomists and to describe the applied biology.
4 To describe planning a taxonomical study and to study of the local fauna
5 To explain the relationship between the taxonomy with the other braches of biology.
6 Taxonomy and statistics are compared.
7 To describe the toxonomic categories.
8 To describe the international zoological nomenclature rules.
9 To describe the homonym, synonyme and typus.
10 To describe the taxonomical studies.
