19 Objective of the Course: To learn the Turkish history of religions and to determine the effects of the old religions of the Turks on their culture
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To learn the religious history of the Turks and to be able to determine the effects of the religions that Turks believed in in the past on their culture.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Explain key concepts and brief history of pre-Islamic Turkish religions such as Shamanism, Mannheism, Buddhism Karayism (Karaylık), Christianity and their influences on Turkish culture.;
2 Key concepts and brief history of pre-Islamic Turkish religions such as Shamanism, Mannheism, Buddhism Karayism (Karaylık), Christianity and their influences on Turkish culture.;
3 Explain the comparative treatment of the religious concepts and manner of the other cultures with consideration of basic religious and mythological themes and motifs.;
4 To recognize as see the text remains of shamanism in the Muslim Turks;
5 To determine the shaman's social roles;
6 To evaluate shamanism in terms of Turkish culture;
7 Fortune telling-divination, marriage and birth, death and the death cult may have information on topics like;
