19 Objective of the Course: To give the anatomy terminology used in the field of veterinary medicine.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The veterinary anatomy terminology is learned while performing the veterinary medicine.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The main terminology of veterinary anatomy;
2 The basic features and concepts of systematical anatomy (espicially, locomotor system anatomy);
3 The domestic animal species in veterinary anatomy and their places in zoological system.;
4 Basic features of locomotor system of the domestic mammals ( horse, cattle, sheep, goat, pig, dog, cat and etc.) and constant anatomical similarities and differences between them;
5 The locomotor system, similarities and differences from mammals of the domestic birds;
6 Identification of species from bones and muscles by taking note of above;

2 Introduction to osteology and chondrology
3 Head skeleton- Cranium
4 Head skeleton- Facies
5 Vertebral Column, ribs and sternum
6 Bones of the thoracic limb
7 Bones of the pelvic limb
8 Introduction to syndesmology. Articulations and ligaments of cranium, hyoid bone and vertebral column.
9 Articulations and ligaments of the thoracic limb
10 Articulations and ligaments of the pelvic limb
11 Introduction to muscular system, accessory structures associated with muscles, cutaneus musculature
12 Muscles of the head and trunk
13 Muscles of the thoracic limb
14 Muscles of the pelvic limb
