19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to gain knowledge about the symptoms of mood disorders, the pathologies observed in the brain, and the pharmacological approaches required for the treatment of mood disorders.

1 To have knowledge about mood disorders;
2 To understand the basic neuroanatomical pathways and neurotransmitter systems observed in the brain in mood disorders;
3 To comprehend experimental animal models used to investigate mood disorders;
4 To have knowledge about the basic properties of drugs used in mood therapy.;
