19 | Objective of the Course: | The purpose of this course is to show the aspect of theoretical and practical knowledge of drama, work on serious situations, real life situations, share and improvise living experiences through drama, show the tension in body, face, (feelings), provide trust and communication between groups, use drama in education to achieve educational goals in primary/elementary level and to make teacher candidates aware that drama is a good way to change attitudes. |

Measurement and Evaluation Techniques Used in the Course | Teaching method: Drama and theatre techniques are applied: The most commonly used techniques are improvisation, role-playing, role corridor, still image, teacher’s role, etc. Moreover, other drama techniques are used. Apart from that, lecture, question-answer, and brainstorming techniques are applied. Assessment and evaluation technique: At the end of each weekly lesson, evaluation activities are carried out to share feelings and thoughts about the process, opinions about performances and the outcomes of the process. Evaluation activities vary according to the subject and the outcome. By using literary genres or visual materials and open-ended questions, the assessment techniques will be applied. Besides, evaluation activities are carried out with educational games to reach the learning goals. | |
Information | Değerlendirme: The drama course in education is evaluated by the complete evaluation system outside the relative system, based on the Bursa Uludağ University Associate Degree-Undergraduate Regulation, in line with the decisions of the academic board. |
