Objective of the Course:
The objective of this course is to provide students with information on the principles of plant diseases and pest control, their application as well as the methods of pest control and integrated pest management (IPM) in order to create the awareness of integrated control.

This course provides students with basic information about control methods against plant diseases and pests

Students will be able to; select the right pest control option and apply when necessary.;

To chose the most selective control method for the environment and successfully incorporate it into IPM programmes.;

To decide whether a crop can be grown organically or not,;

To apply pesticides at the right dose, at the right time in the right way.;
