19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the field of obstetrics and gynecology nursing in line with professional principles and standards, with up-to-date and evidence-based information, by comprehending the anatomical and physiological changes of the whole life period of women's life.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Improving women's health and knowledge, skills and attitude about professional roles functions and responsibilities
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to explain the basic concepts of obstetrics nursing   To be able to evaluate female reproductive health in normal and abnormal conditions To be able to express the anatomy of female reproductive system;
2 To be able to list the necessary concepts in providing pre-pregnancy nursing care and counseling services.;
3 To be able to develop a nursing care plan by understanding the anatomy and physiological change process of women and newborns in processes such as pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period.;
4 To be able to count the stages and mechanics of normal birth;
5 To be able to list the risk factors and mechanisms in pregnancy and childbirth.;
6 STD to explain the social importance of early diagnosis and treatment;
7 To be able to count the advantages and disadvantages of family planning methods;
8 To be able to list the risk factors that cause infertility in men and women.;
9 To be able to count the nursing care steps in benign and malignant pelvic formations.;
10 To be able to count the screening tests used for the diagnosis and prevention of gynecological cancers.;
