| 1 | Introducing the course process and resources. Introduction, basic concepts. The terms culture, civilization, civilization, relationships and differences between them. History, Age and Prehistory terms. Paleolithic and Mesolithic period civilizations. | |
| 2 | Neolithic Period and Industrial Revolution. Early settled life characteristics, formation and development of professions. Early examples of village-city formation. | |
| 3 | Chalcolithic Age and the concept of State. Early examples of village-city states, development of defense systems. Urban designs belonging to different civilizations. The course of civilizations during the Copper, Bronze and Iron ages. | |
| 4 | Civilization characteristics of Ancient Egyptian, Near Eastern and Mesopotamian societies. | |
| 5 | Ancient Crete, Eastern Mediterranean and Hellenistic civilization. | |
| 6 | Ancient Anatolian Civilizations. | |
| 7 | Roman civilization. Social movements seen at the end of the First Age and civilizational interactions of medieval societies. | |
