19 Objective of the Course: This course aims to make nursing students in the Faculty of Health Sciences use the vocational words specific to their discipline and skills to keep up with the literature in English
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Nursing students will be able to use discipline specific words in English and will be able to follow current international literature in nursing in English.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Being able to use reading strategies while reading current research articles and texts on their discipline.;
2 Recognizing reliable reading resources while reading current research articles on their discipline.;
3 Paraphrasing the paragraphs and texts in English ;
4 Being able to read critically;
5 Asking questions about what is read;
6 Finding the main idea in the reading and expressing ;
7 Compare and contrast the most important points of a piece of text;
8 Being able to summarize what is read;
9 Guessing the unknown words in the texts;
10 Recognizing the difference between discipline specific text in English and general English texts;
