19	Objective of the Course:	The aim of the course is to understand the constant principles, concepts and institutions, and to analyze the origins and chronological evolution of Turkish foreign policy through the initial 25-30 years.
20	Contribution of the Course to Professional Development	This course, which aims to teach the development process of Turkish Foreign Policy until the Second World War, contributes to the professional careers of both students who plan an academic career in the field of international relations and those who plan to be employed in the staff of various institutions in the public sector, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other related Ministries.

Learning Outcomes:

1	To be able to identify the fundamental concepts and principles of Turkish foreign policy;
2	To be able to demonstrate knowledge on chronological evolution of Turkish foreign policy ;
3	To be able to attain a level of analysis to make periodic comparisons within the history and structure of Turkish foreign;
4	To be able to articulate the arguments for any debate on contemporary Turkish foreign policy;
5	To be able to interpret Turkish foreign policy both at regional and international level;

10	1923-1939 period: Relations with revisionist countries (Germany and Italy)
11	Turkey’s accession to League of Nations and Saadabad Pact
