19 Objective of the Course: Recognizes the student's own socio-cultural environment by researching and analyzing Turkish mythology.

1 Principles linked to the Republic of Turkey, its people, culture, nature and human beings can love.;
2 To have the enthusiasm for research, learning and teaching as an Art Education Student.;

4 Learning how Turkish mythology is reflected in works of art in different disciplines.;
5 To be able to do scientific research on Turkish culture and mythology.;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Definition of mythology and concepts related to mythology are explained.
2 Types of myths - religion - folk belief - relation of mythology with other sciences are examined.
3 World mythologies and sources of Turkish mythology are taught. Shamanism is told. Turkish inscriptions are told.
4 Creation of the universe in Turkish mythology is examined.
5 The creation epic is learned.
6 Gods and Goddesses are studied and learned in Turkish mythology.
7 Gods and Goddesses are studied and learned in Turkish mythology. Like;Erlik Han, Kayra Han, Ülgen, Umay, Ayızıt ...
8 The epics mentioned in Turkish mythology, which form the basis of many mythologies, are told. Oğuz Kağan, Manas Epic, Dede Korkut Stories.
