19	Objective of the Course:	To give knowledge about Islamic civilization and its institutions emerged in curse of time, and to study its relation to other civilizations especially Western civilization.

Learning Outcomes:

1 To evaluate that with which features Islamic civilization comes into prominence among other civilizations; 2 To analyze basic features of cultures and civilization before Islam; 3 To comprehend the influences of other pre-Islamic civilizations on Islamic civilization; 4 To explain basic principles and characteristics of Islamic civilization; 5 To comprehend the high level of Islamic civilization in Abbasid period and especially in Umayyad State in Andalusia, which made great impact on Europe; 6 To evaluate the contributions of Turks to Islamic civilization and influences of Islam on Turks; 7 To make comments about the influences of Islamic civilization on the West; 8 To analyze prominent scientists grown in Islamic civilization and their contribution to world civilization; 9 To evaluate the institutions of Islamic civilization such as caliphate, administration, education, waqf and jurisdiction.; 10 To evaluate economic and military institutions f Islamic civilization and urbanization;
