19 Objective of the Course: Developments in Turkish political life from 1960 to the present creates the scope of the course. Focusing on the background of the course is to examine Turkish politics in the last forty years whether dealt with in accordance with internal and external developments.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The course especially completes the recent period that our students are missing and can give examples to their students while using this information in lessons.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Understand the importance of Republic of Turkey History II course for the integration of the citizen to the society in which he lives;
2 To be able to comprehend the teaching strategies, methods and techniques which they can apply under the primary education in Republic of Turkey History II course;
3 To comprehend the political differences between single-party and multi-party periods in Turkey;
4 To Learn the events that happened since the founding of the Republic of Turkey and understand the today’s Turkey.;
5 To understand the process of democracy’s development in Turkey.;
6 To be able to comprehend Internal and external events that occurred in the process of democracy in Turkey and the effects of these events to our country.;
