19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to enable students to use their voices more effectively, to recognize the organs involved in the systems involved in sound production, to know about important voice disorders, to have information about the measures that can be taken to protect voice health.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development This course will increase the awareness of individuals who will use their voice in their professional life, and will contribute to the awareness of voice disorders they will encounter and to the solution of problems they may experience.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Knows the correct posture and position in producing sound.;
2 Recognizes the organs producing sound.;
3 Knows the organs in the vibrator system and their features in sound production.;
4 Knows the organs in the vibrator system and their features in sound production.;
5 Knows the organs in the articulatory system and their features in sound production.;
6 Knows the correct breathing and voice technique.;
7 Knows the main voice disorders.;
8 It can take measures to protect sound health.;

Week Theoretical Practical
1 Introduction to sound health and protection course. Course description, content, method of teaching, measurement and evaluation methods. Terms and concepts.
2 What is sound? What are the necessary conditions for a healthy voice to occur?
3 The importance of correct posture and correct posture in healthy voice production.
4 The benefits of knowing the organs in the vibrator system and their roles in sound production on vocal health.
5 The benefits of knowing the organs in the resonance system and their effects on quality sound production on vocal health.
6 Organs in the articulatory system and their place in sound production
7 How does correct articulation occur in healthy sound production?
8 The importance of correct posture and correct posture in healthy voice production.
9 Systems involved in sound production and Breathing System.
10 What is correct breathing? What are the vocal health benefits?
11 What are the main voice disorders?
12 Methods of avoiding voice disorders.
13 The importance of voice physiology in protecting voice health.
14 For those who use their voice professionally, how to protect their voice health and what to do.
