19 Objective of the Course: At the end of this course, students will conduct 12 weeks group sessions with their own group leadership style depending on the theories of group counseling and process

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 be able to provide therapeutic conditions during group counseling process;
2 be able to apply counseling skills during group counseling process;
3 be able to apply the principles and rules of starting and finishing group counseling sessions;
4 be able to use appropriate counseling intervention to counseling and problem;
5 be able to apply group counseling skills while working with real clients;
6 be able to develop their own leadership style depending on group counseling theories;

1 İntroduction to course objectives, content and references, explanations about home work, exam and course activities
2 Preparing the knowledge about group counseling from theory to practices
3 Preparing using the group counseling techniques
4 Preparing the group counseling program
5 Developing coping strategies against problems appeared in group and investigate the applications for group
6 Facilitating, opening, and closing: The foundation of group skills
7 Study Week
8 Working with tension and conflict
9 Taking risks in communication: Toward greater group closeness
10 The Hot-Seat method: A Knee-Jerk experience
11 Method of stirring the pot: Stimulating group affect
12 Skills of termination: Completing the cycle
