19 Objective of the Course: Commercial ships and vessels in maritime business and maritime companies will work to serve the personnel necessary knowledge and skills related to commercial and technical management.

1 Will be able to define commercial vessel types.;
2 Will be able to define the intended use of the weight, volume and commercial tonnage Maritime operations.;
3 Will be able to define the liner and tramp transport.;
4 Will be able to define ship market and documents used.;
5 Will be able to define the economic and commercial functions of ports and be able contribute to the national economy of the ports.;
6 Will be able to define the shipowner services.;
7 Will be able to define the type of materials used in transportation and packaging.;
8 Will be able to define the loading Marks and to grasp of the importance;

1 The importance and characteristics of maritime transport, Maritime transportation where the transportation system, its historical development, basic elements.
2 Description of the vessel, commercial vessel types.
3 Weight, volume and commercial tonnages and their usage.
4 Classification societies and Plimsoll marks.
5 Commercial ship identity information and documents, the documents belonging to a ship, cargo documents, the documents belonging to the ship crew.
6 Captain's duty, powers and responsibilities.
7 Types of cargo carried by sea.
8 REVIEW and MIDTERM EXAM
9 Ports, classification of ports, economic and commercial function of the ports.
10 Types of maritime transport services, maritime transport according to voyage zones, business and types of cargo and ships.
11 General situation of maritime transport sector and related agencies.
12 Provided port services to ship, cargo and passengers.
13 Shipowner services.
14 Standard tools and equipment used in transportation, Packaging and types of packaging.
