19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is to consider different dimensions of rising superpower China in terms of regional and universal foreign policy. In this regard it will also be examined China’s sufficient and insufficient capabilities for this role.

1 To be able to attain knowledge on Chinese identity, culture and history;
2 To be able to demonstrate knowledge on Chinese state regime and political organizaton;
3 T be able to consider China's economic and technological power, and military and ethnic structure;
4 To be able to understand China's relations with its neighbourhood, basic interests within its region and abroad, and its strategic considerations ;
