19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to obtain information to students about the reasons of the existence of the European Union and the formation conditions of it; European Union as a supranational system and the European Union's foreign policy; process and the development of common foreign policy in the European Union; implementation of common foreign policy in the European Union; the European Union’s relations with the regional / global actors and the third world countries; the European Union's foreign policy and status of global actor after the Treaty of Lisbon

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to put forward ideas about the future of European Union considering the features and institutional structure of the European Union;
2 To be able to analyze the European Union's Common Foreign and Security Policy;
3 To be able to explain the European Union's foreign policy implementations ;
4 To be able to evaluate comparatively the European Union's relations with some countries and regions;
5 To be able to evaluate the Treaty of Lisbon with the European Union's Common Foreign and Security Policy;
6 To be able to analyze European Union’s role and status as a global actor ;
7 To be able to analyze the future of the European Union's foreign policy;
8 To be able to participate in discussions about the future of the European Union as a global actor ;

3 Process and development of the EU Common Foreign Policy: 1983 Stuttgart Declaration, 1987 Single European Act, 1992 Maastrich Treaty, 1997 Amsterdam Treaty, and until now.
4 The Amsterdam Treaty and the European Union’s foreign policy
5 EU’s Foreign Affairs in terms of the problem of existence
6 EU-US relations
7 EU’s relations with Mediterranean countries
8 EU’s Relations with ACP (Africa, Caribbean, Pacific) Countries

10 EU’s Relations with the Central Asia and Caucasus
11 The Position of Euraisa Foundation in the EU Foreign Policy
