19 Objective of the Course: Process-based organization, methodologies and practices for the design of transition and re-teach processes.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Plan a business process improvement initiative.;
2 Analyze and redesign a current process that needs improvement.;
3 Obtain the resources needed to change a process.;
4 Develop a systematic approach for creating and implementing change and use information technology in process management.;

1 What is a process? Reasons for process management.
2 Identification of the process, inputs the outputs.
3 Classification of processes.
4 ISO 9000/2000 Quality Management System Standard.
5 Process work flowcharting.
6 EFQM Business Excellence Model.
7 Elements of process improvement. Measurement of process performance. Metrics.
8 Introduction to Microsoft Visio. Work flow and functional flowchart.
9 Brainstorming, fishbone methods.
10 Organization chart, cause and effect diagrams.
11 Calendar and timeline creation, Gantt chart and Pert scheduling method.
12 Quality function deployment.
13 Value stream mapping.
14 Value stream mapping.
