The aim of this course is to obtain information to students about the concept of development, underdevelopment; Theories of underdevelopment and third-world; Westernization process in developing countries; The European Union and U.S. policies toward the third world; foreign relations of third world countries and their expectations from developed countries; status of developing countries after the Cold War; D-8 and its importance
